These courses, which require the completion of industry-relevant work placements, contribute to the Higher School Certificate and lead to nationally recognised Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications.

The Work Placement Program provides students with the opportunity to gain industry and employability skills as well as on-the-job experience for their potential future career path.

Businesses and industry leaders who volunteer to host students under the program are widely recognised for supporting local youth and giving back to their community. They are sharing industry skills, knowledge and passion and contributing to their industry’s relevance for future employment.

Under the program, host employers are also able to trial students’ suitability for current or future employment and inspire students to stay on track on their path from school to work.
