28 Nov The Positive Benefits of Sustainability – Business Hubs
Each month our Business Hub team in Wagga led by example, embracing sustainability using the “inBin” system which enables waste separation for a greener future. For over twelve months, the team has also been collecting their 10c Return & Earn bottles and cans and donating them to not-for-profit local charity Carevan Wagga.
The team were not only able to reduce their landfill waste, but also support a meaningful cause in their local community. These donations are assisting Carevan to purchase a water filter to eliminate single use plastic within their organisaton.
Carevan seeks to address the current community concerns about the level of homelessness, disadvantage, social isolation and food insecurity in Australia and especially in the community of Wagga Wagga.
