19 Nov Canberra Outdoor Structures – Inspire the next generation
Canberra Outdoor Structures, led by Murray Flemming, has been a vital partner in the Work Placement Program since 2011. Hosting over thirty Year 11 and 12 students from Karabah High School and Queanbeyan High School, the program has enabled students to complete essential work placement hours for their Certificate II in Construction.
During their placements, students have gained hands-on experience as trades assistants, learned essential skills like proper manual handling and worksite safety. They have also developed key life skills such as punctuality, customer interaction and personal responsibility.
