
Great Western Highway Closure Business Advisory Support Program
As part of a NSW Government support package, small businesses impacted by the Great Western Highway road closure at Victoria Pass may be eligible for free, tailored business advice.
This business advisory support program is available from 9 June to 9 September 2026.
What support is available
Eligible businesses can access:
- One-on-one advisory sessions, which will be delivered online or over the phone. Our business advisors can work with you to manage disruption and plan ahead. You can receive up to 3 hours of free advisory support.
- In-person, local networking events – more details will be shared soon.
How advisors can help
If your business is impacted by the road closure, advisors can help with:
- managing business disruption
- helping customers access your business
- cash flow management
- debt management
- supply chain issues
- managing contracts and commitments
- manage contracts and commitments
- responding to staff impacts
- finding ways to diversify or adapt
- business planning
Eligibility
To be eligible, your business must:
- have fewer than 20 full-time equivalent employees
- be physically located in, and have an ABN registered to one of the following impacted Local Government Areas (LGAs):
- Bathurst Regional Council
- Blayney Shire Council
- Blue Mountains City Council
- Cabonne Shire Council
- Dubbo Regional Council
- Forbes Shire Council
- Hawkesbury City Council
- Lithgow City Council
- Mid-Western Regional Council
- Oberon Council
- Orange City Council.
