Through the Work Placement Program, the SRBEC coordinates the mandatory work placements senior high school students are required to complete when they are studying a Vocational Education & Training course towards their HSC. This program provides students with the opportunity to gain industry and employability skills as well as on the job experience for their potential future career path.
The success of the Work Placement program has been made possible by the many businesses who have opened their doors and accepted students from the local schools within their community. These businesses have provided opportunities for students to acquire specialist skills, personal and professional growth, and the chance to experience a life outside of the school environment.
In recognition of the valued support and commitment these businesses have provided to our local youth, we have provided each business with a custom-made decal for display in their window.
If you see one of these stickers, we encourage you to support these businesses by utilising their services wherever possible, or simply pop in and let them know they are appreciated as valued supporters of the local school and its students.
