14 Mar Meet Renee Dawson
Renee Dawson joined Enterprise Plus in January 2024 and works with the Get Back in the Game Program (GBIG) with young people aged 15-21 across the Southern Highlands. With over ten years of experience in the youth and community sector, Renee’s journey has been one of dedication and impact. She started as a support worker, discovering her passion for empowering communities before transitioning into youth work. Her commitment led her to become a Youth Coordinator in South West Sydney, where she built strong community connections and developed impactful programs for young people.
After taking time off to welcome her first child, Renee returned to her passion with even greater determination. Now, at Enterprise Plus, she is committed to helping young people on their path to education and employment, ensuring they have the guidance and support to succeed.
For Renee, working with young people is more than just a job—it’s a commitment to fostering hope and opportunity. She finds it incredibly rewarding to support disengaged youth, helping them navigate their unique journeys towards TAFE, employment, and further education. She believes that every young person deserves the chance to pursue their dreams, and she is passionate about being a mentor, advocate, and supporter.
