Case study – Working with a Business Advisor

Amanda’s Garden Room with Business Advisor Ann Sutton

Amanda operates her business out of a replacement shed after bushfires devastated areas of her local township Batlow and its surrounds.

The business, Amanda’s Garden Room, looks out at extensive hillside gardens and views of highland cattle grazing in adjoining paddocks.

Since the fires, along with constructing replacement facilities, Amanda has also been developing new products.

Over the past year, one of our Business Connect Advisors, Ann Sutton, has assisted Amanda in business planning, marketing, referrals, budgeting and networking. She is very excited to see the business launch next month.

From March 2023, Amanda will be hosting workshops from this serene location to teach locals and travellers alike the art of spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting, felting and more. A lady of many talents, she will also teach bonsai and propagating skills.

Enterprise Plus and Business Snowy Valleys are holding a networking business breakfast later this month in nearby Tumut for new local business owners.

Please get in touch with Ann if you’d like more information.
