11 Jun Wagga Small Business Expo Success
On Tuesday 21st May, Enterprise Plus Business Hubs in Wagga Wagga hosted the Wagga Small Business Expo, a collaborative event organised VERTO Self-Employment Assistance and Enterprise Plus. The expo aimed to highlight the support available to sole traders and small business owners in the region.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore a variety of services designed to inspire and assist both new and existing businesses. The event was hosted by Colin Taggart from Enterprise Plus, Nathaniel Dalgleish from VERTO with the headline speaker Mayor of Wagga Wagga, Councillor Dallas Tout bringing significant attention to the event. Guest speakers included Tracey Lonegran from Many Rivers, Laitia Koroiwasa and Neil Barry from Indigenous Business Australia and Andrew Woulfe from Service NSW who all shared valuable insights on the services available to small businesses in Wagga Wagga and the surrounding areas.
Local business owners who have benefited from these services also shared their success stories. Rachelle Mascini from Northshore Studios, Angus Reynolds from Haul Fly Fishing, and Rashid Samad from CareH spoke about how the support they received has helped their businesses thrive.
The expo provided networking opportunities and a sense of community and collaboration among local business owners. It was a successful event, highlighting the importance of accessible support services for small businesses in the Wagga Wagga region.
