Local business changes lives through the Work Placement Program

Level Plumbing and Gas Goulburn, formerly known as Delly’s Plumbing, has been making a significant impact on young students through its work placement program. Under the leadership of David Dell, the business has been providing valuable opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing and gas industries. Over the past 13 years, the company has hosted 28 VET Construction placements and numerous work experiences for younger students, offering them real-world insights and essential skills for potential careers.

One recent success story involves a Year 11 VET Construction student from Goulburn High School, who completed a mid-August placement at Level Plumbing. The student assisted with site set-up, preparation, clean-up, and administrative tasks, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the trade. Another notable success is Izack McDougall, a Year 12 VET student who completed his apprenticeship through Delly’s Plumbing and still works there today.

David Dell’s commitment to the program and his community is evident in the opportunities he provides to students. His efforts have not only helped young individuals explore the plumbing trade but also set them on paths to successful careers. We applaud Level Plumbing and Gas Goulburn for their ongoing dedication to empowering students and look forward to seeing even more success stories emerge.
